Btw, has anyone with March AOR progressed to "In progress" status on Eligibility and Background Check?
On the GC it shows under review (standard), but on the tracker it says "NOT STARTED" for me.
@Pdm_ca following a friend’s timeline in March - he checked this AM n Only biometrics n meds is completed as of March 14 for him. his AOR was Mar 1
Fsw O!
My AOR is Feb 27 and only meds n bio so far done ! Nothing else - eligibility n background not started
I wonder what triggered that. Do you have an extensive travel history? I travel about every two weeks so my travel history was a nightmare, so I might get that form too
everything will be done again. This is a more detailed background check right from work history with employers to criminality check. Consider this from scratch. Your visitor visa has nothing to do with this.
I tried to check my file on the CAS tracker buy it says file cannot be located. I did get AOR too. What can I do in this case?
P.S :- My file was submitted on 22nd March from Calgary
You can call IRCC or file GCMS notes. The former would give you info faster. But, I would caution that getting to know a VO is completely unnecessary at this stage (or before 4th month since AOR). Calling IRCC in just a few weeks or month(s) just creates a poor image of incoming immigrants and gives out an impression that no matter how clearly they say wait for 6 months SLA, we are going to spam them.
It is a personal opinion of mine, but we immigrants should be better than that. Remember, the action of a few would impact everyone - that how profiling starts.

I do not intend to do anything like that. Its just that after reading on the forum, I was wondering about how people know their VO’s. Was asking just for knowledge. Thanks !

Yeah, most just spam IRCC helplines to know their VO What that does is it diverts help from those that really need it (refugees, people going out of status who need help, etc).
