I came in Canada in 2018. I m permnent resident since then. Now i m gonna apply for my citizenship.
I was homemaker since 2018 to 2020. I started my 1st job in 2021. So i did 1st time tax return on 2021.
I have done tax return only one time in 2021. And now i have to do for my 2022 this year. But can i apply before filing tax?
And also they are asking 3 tax return. I have done one time . Is that ok? Even though i do for 2022 1st then apply its not gonna be 3 times.?

Every adult submits a Tax return in Canada even if you are a home maker. Submit those missed Tax Returns to CRA.

You can file your taxes for 2020 and 2019 this year as a person who had 0 income. It would be perfectly fine and will get you eligible to apply for citizenship

1. Looking at where you received your test invite e-mail
2. Calling IRCC and finding out
3. GCMS notes
