Congrats! That is great news.
After 14 month, all I have had from Montreal office was the test invitation. No single other step completed or at least updated and its so unacceptable and frustrating. Is there anyone else on same boat with me?
Same here, Montreal office. No update since December
After 5 months of submitting my fingerprints my background check was marked as completed. Wishing LPP and oath will be soon ..

I submitted in November as well and have not passed yet. This gives me hope though. Which office are you?

Good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear back for a long time like I was. I’m sure your time will come soon.
Quick questions:
Can I wear business casual at the in-person citizenship oath ceremony? Or must it be a business formal?
Also, do the officials issue a citizenship certificate immediately after the oath? Thanks.

Business casual should suffice. Yes, you will get the certificate after the Oath

Alright, so the email came from Niagara Falls office. The ceremony is on zoom, on June 7th, 1 15 PM. They couldn't have chosen a worse time as far as my work is concerned, but I guess I will let the supervisor know that this has to be done, and that work for that day will have to wait. There is no way I am asking to reschedule this.

not sure why I laughed so hard at this! I know that’s right… not rescheduling it. The frustration is enough.
I am hoping for a Zoom invite as well

Well, its funny that they take 15 friggin months to schedule an oath and then schedule it at almost the worst possible time for me.
You should hopefully hear soon enough.
my oath is 2 weeks after
@Gaylewanderer even though I was always 1 day behind her during the whole application process. So, yours should come in within the next week or so I suppose

Thanks for this timeline because I’ve been checking my tracker every morning after and evening
I’ll give it a break and check again beginning of next week. Plus I bet they are tired of my incessant emails haha
Really hoping for a Monday invite as those are my less busy days at work and don’t have to block my calendar out.
Happy you’re at the end and this will all be a distant memory!
What a process!
