Kingston VAC.(Jamaica)
Processing time 10 weeks
Applied March 4 2021 WP
Wife OWP
kids TRV
Biometric March 8
Medical- no request as yet
11 weeks passed
No further updates

to add to this, I am also a BCPNP NOMINEE. Doing WP first then apply for PR after

Processing time as per CIC's website: 5 Weeks (Not including the time it takes to give biometrics)

Applied for Closed WP, Spousal Open WP, Dependent TRV on April 6th, 2022.
Done Biometrics (Spouse and I) on April 11th, 2022 (VAC had issues with Biometric Device)
Received document request for dependent on April 13th, 2022 (Document supplied on April 13th, 2022)
Received Acknowledgement of receipt for document supplied on April 25th, 2022

Requested an update after 5 weeks and was advised that the processing time is 8 weeks including the time it takes to give biometrics, that time has passed. No replies to subsequent follow-ups, no update since.

Processing time for Jamaica is still set to 5 weeks (Updated weekly).

Now on eligibility section showing that your additional documents reviewing.

Noted, they requested his Birth Certificate. This was not required when I was applying online but I should have added it to the Optional Document section, really wasn't thinking about it.

Hi shersher87, I was to ask you. According to CIC's website, you do not need a medical exam from Jamaica. Were you required to do one? Just wanna be certain.
