i just received two oath dates on my tracker, Feb7 and Feb17 what is that mean??

It takes a while to get the certificate depending on the office of your ceremony. Mine was Montreal and I had it in Nov. I didn't get the cert. in hand until Dec 19 with the "supply chain" issues.

Passport on the other hand is a different story. If you need it urgent, go to 74 Victoria Street, Toronto office before 7.30AM and there's two lines in there i.e. folks with appointment and without. Doors open at 8.15 and you will be out around 9.15

For an extra 110$, you can get your passport in 2/3 days (Pickup is available). Good luck!

Hello friends,
I am quite late to the party (March 2021 Applicant). Just found this thread. Is it normal that I’m still at ‘Background verification completed’ and not get citizenship test invite even after these many months? Mine is paper application (me and my wife).

my aunt also applied for her citizenship after20 years on PR. sHe is over 55years. I know she won’t be writing an exam but is the process for them. Does anyone know?

It is normal, there are other 2021 March applicants at that same stage, I am one of those. There are many factors that impact processing times:

Local office processing your application
if it was online or paper
If single or family
If Fingerprints were required
if your file is considered Non-routine

I have heard other applicants have gotten their Oath ceremony changed, it won't be official until you receive the email with the Oath invitation and instructions to join the online meeting. Please let us know once you have recieved the email. Thanks

I moved from Brampton to Kitchener, in August, submitted webform for address change, changed address in ECAS, but nothing is changing since 6 months.!
