How fast is the Niagara office processing current applications? Both our files are on that office and I just wanted to estimate how long it will take for a response after we take the test.
Well it appears that online applications are following their own timeline and it is faster than paper. What I have noticed is that Oath invitations are being scheduled until 2022, but I am monitoring the timelines from other threads!!!
It appears that online applications are receiving test invites from different email addresses, so it is hard to tell which is your local office,, the only way to find out will be calling IRCC or requesting ATIP/GCMS notes.
Ive been scheduled to take the Citizenship Test between 22nd October and 11th November ..... I have updated the spreadsheet and various columns to reflect this as well as ensuring the calculations work correctly. Im a March 15th Online Applicant with Background Check Complete On Sept 28th
Ghost update is when you can see the date in the dashboard changed "updated" but nothing in the in the "application history" changed. It could Background verification completed if that is done, it could be test invite, PP copies request, etc. It could be de sign of an actual update coming up.
My fiance and I are preparing to take the exam at the end of the month. We are having a hard time memorizing all the names in the study book and dates associated with them.
For those who already took the exam, do you think it's needed to memorize all the names? I know some which I would assume would be important such as the first Prime Minister. Also, it is important to know the names of the current leaders of the government?

Take the various Canadian Citizenship practice tests that are available online for roughly 6-8 hours. You'll definitely pass if you do that. That's what I did and I got 20/20.
