What is the status of application in the new system ?

Shows all 4 elements as In Progress and of course for Test and Ceremony.

Per the new tool my application was created on 3rd May 2021.

Congratulations!!! the spreadsheet has been updated and yes you have to wait at least 24 hours to find your information in ECAS.

1-we received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 17,2021
2-we sent you correspondence acknowledge receipt ..... on July 12, 2021
does this mean that they did not start processing it yet correct!

AOR means they open your package and review that all documents were signed, dates were correct and all documents in check list are attached. My guess is that from here it goes into another pile in the queue and it will take another couple of months to start processing (two to six months). In other forums they have said that when in changes to In process in ECAS it means your file has been transferred to your local processing office, but who knows.

We are at early stages in the process, the IRCC tracker or dashboard is new, therefore is hard to provide an answer to your questions at this stage.

Question on filling out employment history under bullet 11: What to write if for a certain duration if you are unemployed?

Should I mention: " Not Applicable " under name of the employer? What should I write in address / City /Country?

I don't think that is enough to flag your application as non routine as you are changing the address at the start of the process, probably what will add a little bit of more work is if you change provinces, but I don't think that will delay the processing of your application. Maybe someone with more experience in this area can comment.

Have you received AOR? I applied on the same date but haven't heard from the IRCC.

Update: After AOR received, Background Verification completed on Jun 24th for myself and my wife. Interestingly my son's Background verification is still showing 'In Progress'

Does anyone see such status like few members in family have Background verification 'Completed' but for few members in family still 'In Progress' ?

So it took around one month from AOR to get back ground check what about the other elements

Yes, it is normal that minors don't change status while the other family members do. I have a minor in my application and 4 of us got the background verification completed the minor has not gotten any updates since April 23, 2021, but as per others comments this is normal.

Are you able to check in old ECAS when your application was set to In Process?

Yes, it is normal that minors don't change status while the other family members do. I have a minor in my application and 4 of us got the background verification completed the minor has not gotten any updates since April 23, 2021, but as per others comments this is normal.

No, I never checked old ECAS. I am just following the new one.
