After the ceremony on March 4, 2022 I received my citizenship certificate by mail about 2.5 weeks later. The agent asked if I was looking to travel ( which I do) as she said it can take anywhere from 2 up to 6 weeks to get the certificate in some cases due to COVID back logs....

Hello!

Question for those who have taken the oath: Do they ask/confirm where you want your certificate mailed to? I am planning to leave the country (on my birth country passport) as soon as I complete the oath for a while and would like to have it mailed to the US.
Not sure if I should update my mailing address on the web form?

They do ask yes. That said I am pretty sure you can't travel back to Canada using your citizenship certificate or your original passport once you become a Canadian citizen.. Might want to look into that a bit deeper before you leave...

I have same situation. I will not be updating any address as i will be asking my friend to post me the certificate to US. I want to keep it simple without changing anything at the last minute to avoid confusion and issues in getting the certificate.
As long as your address on file is good then receive the certificate at that Canadian address and someone can mail you to US by fedex/ups.

Hi everything I have couple of question for one of my friend who is applying for family so for family can he apply online for his family with him.
And do he need to submit police certificate from India if his wife lived in India more than 6 month in last 4 years

Take a demo test. Plenty available online/ you tube / websites / apps. You will know yourself.

I studied from the discovery canada book and took practice tests on you tube. https://www.canadiancitizenshiptests.ca/free-practice-questions. Got 19 out of 20 in the test

I have taken already a few. But are these demo test true representative of real test? I am not sure. That is why asking the real test takers.

Congrats on becoming a Canadian Citizen. Can you please let me know what type of application you submitted? Paper or online?

My oath is scheduled for Thursday next week, and I need to change my address like asap. I've already raised a webform as of last week, however, there hasn't been any confirmation if the change went through or not. I tried doing it online too, but there is a glitch of some sorts that prevents me from making the change. Anyone, who has gone through the same, please help? TIA

My Citizenship application 5 activities section is updated Completed (excepting Citizenship Ceremony) on Feb 15, 2022. I am planning to move Ontario from Saskatchewan. My file is process from Calgary visa office
If I change my address, my file have been transfer from Calgary to Ontario visa office ? Is it gonna be extend my file processes time ?

Your physical address? You can update it during the oath in the registration phase. They will confirm your address to send you the certificate.

Just had my oath ceremony done this morning. Was about 1 hour.
