where do you prefer,IRCC or CBSA? Thank you

I've wondered this. Do you know how much faster are they and does CBSA deliver the same information?

- Bio Taken in 2018 for work permit

on background check stage for over a month now, called them a few weeks back and they said i was on the security stage

- Montreal visa office and inland application

We're almost on the same timeline. When did you exactly called them? Cos on my gcms notes I'm just waiting for the security check as well. Thanks

Called them on the 6th and 25th May, 25th was when the officer said i was still on security
The officer on the 6th didnt go into much detail but said i had started criminality and background check and that things were processing “well”

Have you had any ghost updates recently? My last one was at the beginning of May, probably background check related

I've had a ghost update last sunday morning and yesterday afternoon. I hope we get the good news soon! I'll keep you updated for sure.

My AOR is 8th Mar, Update i received from IRCC agent is as below

CEC Inland, Dependent - Inland

Medical Passed on 23rd Mar
Bio metric done on 26th Mar
Eligibility---> Passed
Criminality--->Passed
Security--->Passed

VO - Sydney, NS , Currently File is in Ottawa Office.

So far i have called IRCC 2 times only, do not want to call them frequently. Not sure if 2 times is also too much for them

IRCC agent said Background Check ongoing so i think they are referring to Info Sharing stage only. Portal also says Background Check ongoing.

If by mistake the email from IRCC which is referred as "pr portal request email" gets deleted somehow, what are the available options after that to moved forward?

Though i feel that would not have happened with me but still wanted to check on this scenario.

You can chck recently deleted folder, trash in yahoomail incase you deleted it im sure gmail have this option too.

nothing there as i keep clearing those folders as well. I am not sure if i even got that email from IRCC.
Wanted to know the option if someone will run into this scenario, can IRCC resend such email?
