That's what I am thinking, and there's no way to actually know what happened to our application because of this vintage paper based application system. I guess I'll just submit another application if I don't hear back this month.
Those who was lucky to see their status moved to "in process " how did you find out that? Did you received some notification, email or you saw change by occasional checking your application status?
Just make sure it doesn't impact your application negatively. Else everyone will start sending duplicate applications with same receipt if they don't get a response with previous application.

Got mine last month. Great to have the news even if my application was not for rush processing. However, part of me is also worried why just my application that is in progress whereas the majority haven't heard any news.

Someone from February got a rejection yesterday. After 8 effin months! I am wondering what I should do if that happens to me, since I am stuck outside Canada due to this Covid situation. Are you allowed to submit a citizenship application from outside Canada? If not, would a lawyer be able to do it on my behalf?
