Hi, Ive been trying to call IRCC from outside Canada using Skype and other apps and couldnt even connect to the automatic reply centre... Do you guys know a way to connect?

I have called IRCC yesterday and They are still saying Criminality is in progress. This is the same response i got when i called in November. I dont think it takes 3 months for them to check my criminality. It is so frustrating that they don't even touch our files. They are just trying to avoid questions by saying we dont have enough staff and due to covid it is slowing down process bla bla bla. Same script all time.

I got a response to a webform stating the various checks are "currently valid"...

• The background verifications are currently valid.
• The security verifications are currently valid.
• The criminality verifications are currently valid.

Other sources have indicated this implies "recommended passed" and the next step in the process is waiting on a final decision by the case officer. I just don't know. It's vague wording. Is anyone in a similar situation or does anyone have any information regarding this?

If that is the case, however, then I can only assume that a decision on my application is "on hold" as an outland applicant while the current travel restrictions are in place.

If these lines represent them issuing the COPR on 14/10/2020 then why not just send it across ?!

When did you send this webform? I sent one back in December by clicking in the "report technical issue" and didnt get any response. Maybe I sent it the wrong way or the wrong form.

It took 4 weeks for their reply.

Checked today with IRCC Agent. Still security check not started. Everything else passed.

Same status since Nov 1.

On December 16 2020, my Medical changed to:

• You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Called IRCC and everything is passed but waiting for officer to decide if I need a new medical or medical will be extended.
Does this mean my application is in the final stage?
Does anyone have a similar application/received a medical extension?

Thats great news!! everything is passed.. Fsw inland aor 6 april.. my medical expired still waiting for extension or remedical...

AOR May 6th, my medicals expired on Dec 21st.
Made a call to IRCC and they dont have any updates. I hope it gets extended.
Did you pass security and criminality ?

I believe I have passed security and criminality.
My medicals haven't expired, they are just expiring soon so they got flagged. I thought they only got flagged if they expired.

Update from IRCC call - all stages are passed, awaiting for approval email. All the stages were marked passed on December-9,2020.

Update from today's IRCC call, application is Approved, agent mentioned only pending thing for now is COPR.
