Got email notifying that Express entry profile is updated. Logged in and found that COPR is approved. Its an entry on the express entry profile, however no document is available to download and no instructions as to what is next.

So folks who have gone through this could you share as to what happens next.

I am an Inland applicant if that helps.

You should get an email in 3ish business days attaching the COPR document with instructions for what to do next, which is also uploaded to your online account around the same time.

When I first asked IRCC agents in the summer, the answer was that my case was being processed in Ottawa. But the emails I got for the new portal were from the Etobicoke branch.

@legalfalcon My AOR is 6th March, Biometric done on 5 th Oct and Called CIC 2 days back and they said that my eligibilty has been passed and currently they are doing background check. Any idea how long will it take more to process the application completely and get CoPR ?

BGC comprises of criminality and security. In most cases it will take 3-5 weeks after it starts for security, unless your application is in enhanced SS.. Criminality is done early in the processing.

Security will only start after eligibility is conclusively passed. see #2,521

Most applications are delayed and this is just administrative. If no one has worked on your file, then you will not see any progress. There are many files lingering like this.

Dear @legalfalcon , so this is exactly the question- which actions could be taken by the applicant in order the officer pay attention on the case? To write the inquiry to the MP? To raise multiple web-forms about the status? To call to the IRCC call-center? To order the GCMS/CBSA notes? I want to believe there should be the way of expediting the process...

Eligibility passed by Analyst and yes they check the Work exp and IELTS etc. Then Office make a final decision Eligibility to be met/passed

If they found any red flags in Security check, then it goes for enhanced security screening, which can take upto 1 year
