Due to COVID-19, as a temporary measure, if you gave your biometrics within the last 10 years, you don’t need to give your biometrics again.

I've been getting a lot of spam calls from around the world (unrelated issue) but I'm now worried I'm going to miss my biometrics call.

Is there any way to check if they've contacted you already?

Is there a number to look out for or is it just 'ID Withheld'?

Just got the Call!! Uknown ID Caller, booked biometrics to next week. The unfortunate side is that my spouse was unable to book in the same call, they should be calling separately...
AOR in March 10.

I applied at 4pm PST on Sep 4, the GcMS was generated on Sep 28. I got it on Oct 7. FYI.

ok, good knews my spouse should not be required, even though we received the letter for both of us, since it was collected for a worker visa application recently. So, we are leveraging this temporary resolution that waives biometrics even for PR. Thanks for sharing that information!

well, as far as I know, COPR is only after booking the Landing inside Canada, which from what I've heard is a nightmare to find spots available, and now with COVID, being that probably the only option, it should be even worse!

this is my spouse's case. Only I received the call so I think you won't receive a call. My only question is if they will waive automatically that biometric requirement.
