Hello Fellas,

Applied under Ontario PNP(skilled trade) via ECE
AOR on March 3 2020
Got a call from service Canada on 30th Sept 2020
Biometrics done and updated on same day - 2 OCT 2020, Kitchener passport office
Any Suggestions! which can be helpful for process tracking or Is there Anybody who got a call in September 2020 and Have seen any further progress in process?

Background check (BGC) is a generic term for criminality, security and information sharing. Three federal bodies work together to do immigration and citizenship screenings:
‌

• Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
• Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
• Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)

‌
CSIS and CBSA provide security advice to IRCC to make sure applicants are not a threat to national security. They do not make decisions on applications. IRCC will make a decision on your application. IRCC independently reviews the background check assessment in the final review before the application is approved. This is another reason for delays at this stage of the application processing.

Guys, I jz got reply to my webform: AOR 17 March

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

The background verifications are in process.
The security background verification has not been initiated.
The criminal background verification is currently valid.
The medical examination results on file are valid for you.
While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

Furthermore, we can confirm that your file is currently located at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.

If the Eligibility, Background verifications and Criminality is coming out to be valid but security has not been initiated, what does it mean exactly ? is this the last step before a PPR email is released ?

Inland? When was your biometrics? Same AOR as mine, ordered notes last week but no idea when I would get it.

I'm applying from Nigeria. Bio was Aug 24 at VFS Abuja. I filled the webform Sept 18

FSW Outland (USA)

ASSESSMENTS

Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs: Cancelled
Final: Approved

Looks like the only thing pending is PPR. At the bottom (NOTES: 7) of the list there are notes about everything including education, funds, job, requesting my renewed passport, receiving it, etc.

I ordered on Sep 7. Still didn’t receive

I ordered mine through getgcms.com. But I don't think the service makes a difference in the timeline.
