I got Canada PR using Saskatchewan PNP and on my COPR it says Regina, Saskatechwan as destination. Can I do soft landing in Buffalo, NY and return the same day?

There is a system issue that IRCC ATIP is experiencing and some files are affected, below is part of an explanation from IRCC related to such issues


This is a response to the email that was sent to xxxxxx on xxxx regarding the ATIP system xxxx.

We have been experiencing a glitch specifically within the Application and the Activity section of the reports where information has not been properly generated....

When the PPR is received, it is mandatory to Submit the passport in the country of Residence or it can be submitted anywhere in the world?

You can submit it anywhere, however, you will have to inform IRCC of the country you wish to submit our passport and wait for the instructions for that country.

You can land anywhere at any port of entry. Currently when you land, you have to provide a detailed quarantine plan, that shows how you will quarantine for 14 days when you arrive in Canada. This plan is mandatory.

it has been for almost everyone. Not sure a true GU or a system glitch.

They expire one year after they are done

Expiry is one year after the medicals are uploaded onto the system which generally is about a few days after they are done. You can find the exact date of medical expiry from GCMS notes.

Done biometrics Sep 25, 2020 on Vancouver Island. A couple of ghost updated, but nothing major yet.
