Can anyone please confirm what is the process after receiving COPR, do we need to submit our passport for that process? My passport is going to expire in Jan 2021. Should I wait for the final decision and then renew the passport or will that impact my PR process if I'll go had for renewal at this time as it takes 1 1/2 months for passport renewal?
AOR 2020/03/16 inland EE application from Vancouver
Med passed 2020/05/01
Still waiting for a call from Service Canada for the biometrics collection, is there anyone else who got AOR in March that is still waiting to get their biometrics done? I saw some people who submitted their case in June or even July has got a call for the biometrics, is it normal?
Not sure about FSW but even CEC inland applications are being processed slowly and that makes no sense. My AOR is March 5th and I completed by Bio metrics and Medical and both were passed March 11. There has been zero movement. I have ordered GCMS notes on September 25 and have not received that too. Extremely frustrating to say the least.
Following this forum and different trackers for the last 2 months, what I understood is Inland applicants processing is faster than Outland. PNP Outland is faster than FSW Outland. Nowadays Inland applicants are directly receiving CoPR in email skipping PPR and getting the PR card directly.
I think all the processes are slow right now. I just confirmed this morning about my criminality, my biometrics already uploaded on 15th October 2020, and I have not travelled that much, still my criminality is in progress. VO: Ottawa, FSW Inland. the processing is very slow right now.
Well my security was already completed before I submit my biometrics and criminality is initiated only after bio.
No I didn’t order GCMS but I called IRCC.
Interesting occurrence: I submitted a web form 2 weeks ago enquiring about the status of our application. We received COPR last Friday. Today I received the webform response stating our application was still in process. So take webform responses with a pinch of salt I guess...
