Called IRCC on 6th oct and they said everything is done except criminality check which is in progress. Is it related to biometrics and if yes, then how much time it takes for criminality check to update after biometrics ?

Finally got the Service Canada call. Am in Ontario, BIL date was May 27th. Appointment is on Oct 30. Best of luck every one who had got biometrics done for a quick good update.

Well, it sounds like in your case it is just a matter of time when an officer opens your file to finalize and hit “approve”. Kind of waste of time! Hope you can get goof news this or next week.
