The 6 months time frame starts when your R10 or the completeness check is passed.
I got AOR March 20 too, no update yet. Mine is because I have a medical issue and was asked to do another X-ray 3 months after the first which I am yet to do.
Timeline:
Upfront medical: Feb 14th
Medical Furtherance: March 4th
AOR: March 20th
EE class: CEC Inland
Why you guys don't check myImmiTracker. Medical passed and biometric letters are received till March 18 AOR. You will get Medical Pass and Biometric letter this week. I bet.

Currently IRCC is giving 90 days to complete your BIL. If you cannot meet the 90 days deadline, send a CSE and inform IRCC.

I just received my biometric letter today. 61 days after my AOR. No medical updates though.
My wife already took the biometrics last year still she also received the letter. Does that mean that she will have to take it again ?
Yes, you have to give biometrics every time you apply for PR
