I have got a similar reply so I am pretty sure that are currently valid means passed. congrats on that!
however, they haven't initiated your security check. If they decide not to send your case for a security screening, than it could be really fast, probably for one week. However, if they decide to initiate a comprehensive security check, than it will probably take another 6-8 months.
I applied as a food supervisor NOC 6301, i applied with one year experience, now its been more than 2 years. I am inland applicant on work permit expiring this November

But my medical expires in the second week of feb, they haven’t asked me for remed. Concerned for that since the corona virus case, whether it might affect all medicals now

I am pretty sure that are currently valid means passed. This is their typical wording.
They usually would ask for a re-medical after they finalized the security check. But for in-land applicants, they are more likely to extend their medical examination result. Are you applying from China?
Hi Everyone,
After a really long silence, I got a request for medical exam though I did an Upfront medical exam on March 7th 2019 .My status said I passed my medical exam on May 4th 2019. Why am I being asked to do a medical exam again ? Is this what is called the "Re- medicals" ? Kindly throw some clarity. Thanks in Advance.!
