I did medical in Jan 2019 and I got an extension on Jan 22nd, 2020. I am an inland applicant.
usually they would give you an extension for inland application. I assume.

Same here. AOR March 24th. I did medical on Jan 12th 2019 and it should have expired already. I haven't got any extension letter or a request for re-med. Last time I called them, the agent told me nothing to be worried about and just wait patiently. Got an ghost update yesterday though.
Fingers crossed for those who are still waiting!

Did you call CIC after the update?
I got an update on the 23rd of January, called CIC, the agent confirmed ALL PASSED, waiting for the decision. I have no idea how long this process is gonna take. My medical is expiring on the 11th of March tho.

Did you contact via MP? I called CIC this morning and was told my SS just passed yesterday and no pending request from the visa office.

hi, actually i got reply from MP the same date i received PPR. IRCC wont inform you if medical gets extended you have to call or contact MP.

For me it took a week to receive PPR after passing SS. 4 days after medical gets extended. You should receive your PPR no later than next Wednesday. Congrads

for me I didnt get any GU for medical extension. Weird. My medical still shows: “you passed the medical on April 2019”

Did you call CIC or make any inquiries through Webform? or did you order notes from IRCC?
