Ordering gcms doesn't trigger anything. It was merely a coincidence. Don't make such recommendations based on your experience alone. Lots of people order gcms and still keep on waiting for good news.

Chill dude...! I have merely stated my experience. I have not “recommended” anyone to go buy GCMS notes. I have merely made a suggestion and not forcing people to do it! I am sure everyone is soon going to receive their PPR emails. Prayers and love for all!

Congrats for some people got their PPR email, I hope those people who are still waiting will get soon, including me (AOR 2 Mar, 2019).

Ps..I usually login to my account to check my application before 9:30 I start to work at the office in Vancouver BC, so it looks like I merely catch up with the GU, feels like most of the time I see it still "submitted" .

Hey guys,

URGENT ADVISE NEEDED

I received my ppr on the 26th Sept (last thurs) stating my vo is ottawa and they will be the one who will process my visa.

In the section 5. Send your passports to ottawa, it states the ottawa address and no other alternate option.

Towards the end of the email IF YOU ARE MAILING FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, its clearly stated that if your return mailing address is outside canada or us pls inform cic by email and they will arrange visa stamping at another office.

As i reside in a gcc country without any canadian embassy/consulate/vfs i had assumed they will ask me to send my passport to abu dhabi.

However, since the last 1 week i have sent multiple emails to cpc ottawa notifying them about this and also raised web form but no news still.

I am losing on days ... please advise.

In addition to the above, how can this happen as my country of residence has already been mentioned in my application itself..then how could cpc make such an error ?

They'll probably respond soon. Cse usually takes like 7 business days. So give it a little more time. Or you can contact abu dhabu office for help as well.

In the meantime I'm sure you can Google the VFS office responsible for your territory and call them as well.

Did you email on CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and marked it urgent??
Meanwhile you should contact abu dhabis vfs center and seek help from them
