This is really scary. I have been under the impression that even if the PPR email goes to spam, there will be an update in the account that should notify us. Now I am panicking a bit thinking what if I received the email in my spam and it was auto-deleted. I am hoping there would be some kind of GU either before or after the PPR email gets sent out though.

In my case got a GU a day after PPR. Best thing is to create a filter. I found it while creating a filter

Received the ready for visa email.However, im based in the middle east and i have been asked to send the passport by courier to ottawa office ?

Can some one clarify ?

Asked to take a print out of the email.official letter in the form of pdf is not available

People who received their PPR request, did you have a barcode or asterisk around your application number?

The format which I received from IRCC was vague. Only asked me to submit my passport as it was required for my decision. Is that the COPR mail too?

Same here.the official letter i assumed to be on .pdf format or something is the email itself and application number mentioned in * .....*

Also, i am GCC resident and should have been asked to submit passport to abu dhabi however its mentioned to be sent to ottawa !!

60 days is the submission deadline provided.

Hey , I got the same mail . I think we have to send to Ottawa if there is no visa centers in the country . But since we have Dubai and Abu Dhabi Canada visa centers here, it should be ok . I will be trying the Dubai visa center in Wafi mall today as that’s closer for me and see if they accept the passport submission , otherwise it has to be Abu Dhabi

U go through vfs. They will send it to Ottawa. But still check with vfs office first over the phone. They will guide.

U r doing the right thing. Vfs Canada will process sending of passport to Ottawa for you. Better to confirm over the phone though

I am not a resident of UAE.Also, do you have another attachment in the email, or the email itself.Secondly, is your submission deadline 60 days ?

Yea exact the same . No attachments. I printed out the email itself. They need that , passport and the PR size passport photo which is a different size than usual. That’s it . I just submitted in Dubai vfs. And they accepted it
