Currently , Biometrics cannot be given inside Canada. I would recommend raising a web-form and asking for clarification.
As per the website, inland applicants are eligible for an exemption.

I checked, by mistake my wife's country of residence is mentioned as India in application at one place, i guess because of this we have received a request for bio metrics.I have raised a web form for updating the same, not sure how long will it take.
Is there anything else I can do to get it updated, i called CIC but the agent was not of much help.

Biometrics are requested for outlanders. The EE profile ask for your current country of residence, if you answer any country other than Canada, they will request for biometrics

What is BIL?

BIL is Biometrics Instruction Letter, is sent after MEP. You have to carry it at the time of biometrics submission.

My AOR was on 02nd March and got my MEP on 18th April, but nothing on BIL yet???

Is it normal to have such a long waiting time for BIL since the date of MEP??
