My medical exam passed on March 15 but my status for background is “your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check” until today but your already “we are processing your background check”. That’s so fast. Don’t know if something is wrong with mine.

I submitted my application on 27 -March. I have a question: I have 2 countries that I stayed more than 6 months and I see the police clearance certificates for these 2 countries are 'Post' application.

Will I receive a letter from IRCC any time soon then go to apply for the police clearance certificates?

When will I receive the letter?

Just wondering how long it may take as one of the country will need at least 1 month to post the police certificate to IRCC- then I wonder how long could it take for me to reach a PR decision...

Requesting RCMP certified criminal records check...

Anyone have an idea of how long after I submit the RCMP check is it typical for PPR?

Hi , i am in similar position .
My spouse and I on work Visa , and my two kids on Student Visa .
I saw they ask you to do the RCMP criminal check , i am submitting my application on May 10th. i saw they don't need police check if you live in canada however this say different.
I did my RCMP already , i think i should let my husband get his completed and upload it one time.
