I came to Canada since 16 for high school as well. 1 year work experience only travel twice during my 8 years stay in Canada excluding trips to US on road . My AOR is March 1, still waiting. So, he is most likely right, it solely depends on the processing office.

I came here to start my grade 11. I also have a clear travel history (Canada and China, went back to China 3 times in 10 years)
Maybe that is why I got a faster result.

I don't know my visa office. Here is my timeline

AOR: March 1
MEP: April.15
IP2 since then

I called them twice around April 20 and May 9. The agent gave the same status in both call: eligibility met, criminality passed, security not started. I did received two ghost updates yesterday and today. No email notification though.

My biometrics letter was sent by IRCC on April 18th which expired on May 19th, but my agent shared the BIL just sometime back.

I am completely clueless on what to do now??? They are putting allegations that they sent it to me then itself.

Kindly let me know what can be done now???

Adr was we are processing additional documents.
And today it got changed to not applicable.

No big issue. Send an email to IRCC or CSE and request a renewed BIL letter.

However, also try using the expired letter to give you biometrics. In some cases that works too.

My agent has already dropped an email to the concerned authority and we are awaiting their revert.

Also, I tried booking the biometric appointment using the old BIL but they refused to accept. They are requesting for a renewed BIL.

Say, if the requested renewed BIL is issued and subsequent process concluded, will this have an effect on my processing timelines???

Not really, the biometric data is used for security, which is the last stage, so there won't be any major delays.
