Finally, the Ready for Visa mailmail arrived on Oct 23.
AOR: March 15
Called ircc towards end of August, they said eligibility being checked and security not started.
Sent two Web forms, one after the completion of 6 months (around September 20) and one recently.
Funny part is, on the day before I got the Ready for Visa mail, i got the reply for my last web form saying that eligibility being checked and security not initiated. So, doesn't this question the credibility of information provided on the web form?
I have observed that people with AOR's dated early march say from Mar 01-Mar 10 haven't received PPR's much. My AOR is Mar 02 and in the coming 10 days, I will complete 8 months of case processing time officially.
I just wanted to check, how many guys in this forum are from the early March time frame and awaiting PPR's??? Please do reply.

Web form. Provide a copy of old passport. Once you get approval, submit PP for renewal and when you have new PP, send a copy via web form, and then submit PP to AD VAC.
Thanks. I already gave my passport for renewal when the PPRF request came. I can keep old passport but do I have to reupdate the file with new passport details?
I have no idea. No one has informed me about it. The GCMS Notes was not available until after an additional 60 days. I'm totally blind here since no update since my 6 months estimates expired and they indicated in GCKey that its taking longer than expected.

I would suggest it. I had a passport that needed renewal and I did it via webform. Got confirmation of PP docs upload after I received PPR. Just as long as they know... esp becauae they need to paste a visa in your passport.. they shd know the new PP number
