they will only mail back the passport to an address within north America. I moved back to India in February 2018.

After PPR its not really an issue. All they have to do is stamp your passport.

So I have a question. Under background check it says “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”. What does this so called ‘message’ come as? Is it one of those emails that says ‘you have a new message in your account’? Do you actually get an email when you change from IP1 to IP2 or should I actually log in to find out?

Well, looks like you are in IP1.

These guys do send emails if there are any changes to your account.

there is no message. when you login application status says 'updated' instead of submitted.

I am not familiar with this path? What happens when someone is outside NA? Just curious. Thanks
