No, you get 1 year to land in Canada.

I second this though I would like to add the caveat here: the rule is one year from your medical submission date or passport expiry date, whichever is earlier.

I think someone just before who got their PPR was saying the status remained the same even after getting his PPR. So I think nothing to worry.

Yes. I don't think they update ADR status. I have got my COPR as well and still the ADR status has not changed. Even the IP2 message (started background check) did not change post PPR and only after COPR, it changed to "your background check was completed".

So it is best to not read too much into these things.
