And when you do call them, ask them the date on which your file was last processed. This gives an idea about how long would they take.

Mycic is not working at the moment here. Don't remember the UCI No. Only have the profile number in the printed ITA that I have with me.

They only ask for application number which starts with a letter ''E" followed by 9 digits. They never ask for UCI

I know it's a painful progres... Try calling after 2 hours when most of India South Asia is sleeping. I usually call around 1 am IST ( 3:30 PM EST)..

The annoying part is that they are not updating status online which means that whatever the automated voice tells you is not the current status.
In fact, I was recently told that ordering GCMS slows down the process since the IRCC guys have to transfer your file to GCMS guys..then they take their sweet time to generate notes. Only when GCMS finishes creating a report for you, they transfer your file back to IRCC to resume their process.

It's a mess.

If you are CEC like me. Call IRCC and find out your status. I was told everything and it looks like they know everything.
IRCC number ‭1 (888) 242-2100‬ I usually call them 9-10 am Toronto time. Below is my full timeline hope it helps

IP2. 04.11.2018 (medical exam shows not needed to we are reviewing, reason is My clinic delayed the uploading and IRCC decided to move on with file without Medical)


MEP. 04.17.2018 (medical shows passed from we are reviewing. Called IRCC, IRCC said eligibility is undergoing and background checks not started)


04.24.2018 called IRCC and IRCC said eligibility recommended pass, two background checks. No.1 background check is in progress, No.2 background check hasn’t started. No.1 bgc I would conceive as criminal checks. No.2 I would conceive as security check


05.01.2018 called IRCC agent. Confirmed my file is undergoing bgcs run and confirmed if bgc is finished, file will be final reviewed and eligibility will be officially passed. (Note official eligibility pass is when same day PPR will be programmed according to a lot of GCMS notes facts)Also confirmed the bgc is currently being done by CPC Ottawa and final review will also be done by CPC Ottawa

You got lucky, Im CEC too and called them yesterday, agent said she could only inform which stage is being processed (criminality check in my case) and my visa office (Vancouver), she said she couldn't disclosure which stages had been finished already.
