I got that email even before the ITA. No such email after the AOR. Wondering whats going on. Lots of applicant got some kind of update from March AOR, but mine stays mum!

I got that email when i created my EE profile and nothing after that. So confusing

Wanted to updated on my COPR process. My timeline is:

ITA march 26
AOR march 28
Med april 6
IP1 april 7
PPR April 19
Passports were submitted to local VFS and forwarded to HK Canada Office on 20th April
Counterfoil issuance notification on CIC - April 25th
Waiting for the passports

FSW outland (non-US)

The status:

Application status A final decision has been made. Please see the final decision below.
Review of eligibility Your eligiblity has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents Not applicable.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Your background check was completed.
Final decision Your application was approved.

Just called CIC and Agent told me that They don't need Additional document at the moment. My eligibility is recommended pass. They are processing my background check at the moment. My VO is CPC-Ottawa. For timeline, please see my signature. I hope we all got PPR very soon...!

My AOR is 04.03.2018 CEC inland
Yesterday I called agent, she told me my file is recommended pass and doing background check. It looks like CEC is speeding up

Does your cic profile day that they are doing your background check? As in do they update our profiles as well or we should call them to be surprised

It says we are processing your bgc since 04.11 but I called them twice and I knew they didn’t start my bgc probably 04.20,
But they finished eligibility is a surprise to me meaning finishing bgc I am getting ppr

its a good sign there are many people who got ghost update and then PPR in few days.

Med Passed and IP2- Mar 16th
No update since then(Today Ghost update)

Nothing to worry about.
It is not an Email, but a MyCIC account message.
I received 2 "How to find jobs in Canada" messages, one after profile creation and one after IELTS Score update.,
and both before my ITA and AOR. No such message after my AOR.
