Passed everything last year, and passed security last month. Medical expired right before I pass security.
Got several ghost updates recently, and the last one changed my medical again to: You passed medical exam (even though I did not do the remedical, I guess they extended it)
So far no news, I hope I get the PPR soon.
Does anyone have any experience with this particular scenario?
how long duration so far for medical exam until it is expired ? is it calculated from the day you made it or the day you they receive your application ?
Thanks in advance . wish you good news soon .
Hi,
Still no news on my end, I called and had an agent sent a reminder to the officer to review my case since it has been 11 months already and 10 since the last update.
I've had that thought about withdrawing however there is no guarantee you won't get on the same status again. I would wait and continue insisting, keep calling them I usually call every 2-3 weeks. Patience, hopefully we will get some news in the next month
Hi , thanks for your reply . From what I read around if they extend your medical again , it means you passed everything . Congratulations you will get very good news soon . How long have you been waiting since received application ? what is your program ? I have been 11 months under family class .

Today I got a reply to a CSE I had raised back in November saying they had received my additional documents and my application is now in queue for an officer's review. Coupled with the ghost update and similar email I got last week, It sure feels like a lot of activity after months of radio silence. I'm hopeful. My guess is they want to deal with these backlogs before one year. I'd have been waiting exactly 11 months by tomorrow the 14th.
