According to this thread, this isn't normal? Or is it? Called twice immigration twice and nothing has come up regarding the review. Does this change for most people, if so when does the change. During the call, they have brought up security and medicals, both have passed. Nothing has been brought up regarding eligibility.
Are you referring to status on online account? If yes, then it will shows under review till the time they issue you COPR. If you want to know true status you should order GCMS notes.

Same here. AOR March 18. CEC inland . File is at CIC Sydney Nova Scotia. I received an email this morning from CIC stating. Your file is in queue for review by a visa officer. I am not sure what does that statement mean. If someone could share their experiences or thoughts on this.
My application is in Review Required bcause of duties not detailed enough in one of the LOE.
Awaiting review of an officer.

Have you not ordered GCMS notes? The online status keeps showing under review till the time they issue you COPR so that is not an indication of anything. You need to be more proactive in figuring out what is going on and what they need.
Yup unfortunately I am still stuck. My file hasn't been opened since May 5th. And I received an email from CIC yesterday stating your file is in queue for review by a visa officer. I really don't know what stage is it in and how generic that message is.
