don't loose hope
one thing i found with this process and from the little knowledge i have gained immigration is very unpredictable even though it may seem like nothing is being done, do not despair things are being done that we dont know about.
Take my case for example, i went from
sending application out in march (100 + days nothing )
then AOR and approval back to back days (end of June)
then months and months of sending emails inquires (nothing no response i almost lost my mind)
then October comes along (in process)
now end of November husbands address has been changed to mine
still not one word from the visa office to me or him, no phone calls no emails nothing
but in God i put my trust and he will deliver
hey everyone, got some news last week.. VO sent for meds extension and once they get that back, they will be able to finalize my process. Status went to "in process" as well.
So hopefully soon all of us Marchers will be done!
Thanks for uplifting my spirits Chickie, Golden, and Blondie! There seems to be alot of movement in Kingston which is great news and I am happy for everyone that has progress on their file. ;D The faster they get through the ones they're working on, the quicker they'll get to the rest of us that are waiting!!!! And I guess I shouldn't whine about it until I'm at the 17 month mark!!!!! :

i'm sure it wont reach the 17 month marker. Kingston is just impossible they need to update people more or at least answer emails. I am sure they would not be bombarded with emails if they would just update on the website once in awhile. Throw us a bone. Have faith you are next in line for your blessing. True thing Goldenrule......that is all we are asking for is something to let us know even that our files are down there, darn it all the other VO's send an AOR when they get the app why can't Kingston?????

Yes I have come to realize that...someone from last week I think, their ECAS said the same as mine "application received, medicals received" and they got a call last week to bring their PP into Kingston so I truly believe even though it may not say it, they are working on our files.....you have to have alot of faith and belief to get thru this process or it will drive ya mad!

i am from February and the process is realy slow in my Visa office, someone getting the visa, for cpuiples month and someone for a year , hope evrybody is getting any news soon and christmas and holiday to celebrate together with our love of the life
yeah we have to cross the fingers that our spouse will be for christmas, yeah my Vissa officer forgot my file on the desk aftyre 4 weeks my husband had the interveiw and i didnt hear anything from the embassy , i emailed , i call them no news, aftre i contact MP , aftre couples hours git the answer that they need aditional documet for my husband , imagine that how hard for them it was to answer the emial
