like really?????? they didn't send you whole application back....WTF!!!!!!
I am the same as you but they sent my whole application back because I didn't have the medical so be thankful but all your letter means is that they can't approve you as a sponsor until the medical is received back by them. As soon as they get it they will continue with processing your application.

On my application I selected the option to process and not send my money back (am not too sure what the question was exactly) but it ask if you would like them to continue to process even if you do not qualify and I selected that. So was this what you also selected?
I hope the whole process goes by fast for us all, the wait is killing!!!!!!!!!
My letter states to send it to an officer ??? so I will do that ASAP.
How are things going with your application, did you send them back the medical?
If so what did they say/do after and how long did they take to reply you?
you have been lucky.. i hope chickie72 would have been luckier as well. but atleast she is good for that atleast she got designated officer who will see her file. that is good .. thank god the cic is this much good
Today, is my first time to login CIC website with my UCI # , I check that is DM, is this the last part of this application , I saw somebody they have FN .... S1 ... S2.... ME, but my status now is ME , if ME is the last steps ,then I am very lucky :-*

not 100% sure but if you logged in under your UCI as sponsor and dm shows...that is your approval...does it say letter sent out on such and such a date???

yes. it shows that the approval letter was sent out on July 4.
please consider delays as its a snail mail..lol
ohhhhh.... i got it now.. what S1..S2 means...thanks...
do you know when its gonna say in process ? or medicals received ? the call centre agent said the file has transferred. i think the officer will open the file then its gonna show ??????? ???

Yes I selected the same option as you and also am not to clear on what it meant but I didn't care cause I have no reason why they would not approve me. I am glad you got an officer to send yours back too, I have that option also. I haven't sent mine back in yet, still waiting for the medicals and everything, I am going down to Jamaica to visit my hubby in two days so I am hoping to bring everything back with me when I come. We have decided to also change our application and bring his step son now too (it is cheaper to do it now then later) so now we have another medical to get. Good luck with yours, hoping this process is quick!
Its surprising that anything gets done at CIC, with all the changes, offices closing, files getting sent who knows where...its no wonder call centre agents can't help much. It's kinda like a chicken running around with its head cut off. Their left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!
