Hi guys... I did not get any post/email from CIC. I applied for the citizenship, so i just logged in with that details....looks like i got the AOR, it says "We received your application to sponsor xxxxxx on March 8, 2012. " Please check with your PR card client ID, u might have it too...

I used the unique Client Identifier, that they gave me when i applied for the citizenship. That is actually in the PR card. The receipt number does not work.

My file has been approved on May 31st and transferred as per email by ottawa pilot (however i sent my file to missi)

Sent it to Mississauga. They must transfer internally.

What is the email address they sent from? (The From email address) just so some of can safe list it, or watch it in the spam folder.

I tried using the Client Identifier number, it just shows the status of my citizenship application. It doesn't show anything about the spousal application.

My application reached CIC on March 8'th.

Hopefully next week, we should hear something from CIC.

CPC-M received our application March 6. I received my approval by mail May 31 and the letter is dated May 29. Does that mean I was actually approved on May 29, or only when I received the letter?

I am a Hong Kong, I would want to know, did you received any e-mail or letter before your approved on 29 May 2012. Because until now I have not recieved anythings from CIC, and no record in the CIC website, I don't know how is my apply , so worry !

Hey bobokiko, the receipt number will not work until your file has been opened and processed by CIC, so don't worry, it is normal that it doesn't work. your UCI is given to you either if they send you an AOR ( acknowledgement of receipt), or directly the sponsor approval. Most people get sponsor approval directly and no AOR. On the website they say they are currently working on applications send on the 15th of February, however some people from beginning of march have started receiving news from CIC. So in your case - you need to wait a little bit more, maybe you will hear from them this week or the week after, but so far there is nothing to worry about, you are in line with the other applicants.
If on the website it says that they are working past your application date, then you can call them to check on the status of your application, but if you call now they won't tell you anything. best is to wait - even if it is hard.

@Bobokiki, I didn't receive anything by email even though I provided my email address. All I got was a letter in the mail and I was able to use my UCI provided to me in the letter to log into E-CAS on the government site. I wouldn't be worried if I was you. Their working on applications, hopefully you'll receive something this week or next.

Hi Guys.... Good news... Sharp at 8.45am i got the approval e mail (OttPilot-Immigration <OttPilot-Immigration @ cic.gc.ca>) and they have already sent out to Colombo... hope u guys will get soon today or this week...
