Glad to found this forum! At least now I know I am not the only one who are waiting in misery

I sent my documents to Vegreville last March but I havent got anything at all.. Would you please inform me what updates should I get in from CIC? I saw people wrote about their Application received date etc, where do you get that? Am I missing something?

You're applying inland? You have 11 months for first stage. So you're just over that amount. Wait a little longer and you MIGHT get notice that its being transferred to the VO.

Yes, I applied inland. I live in Quebec since last year. Yeah, I just checked CIC, you are so (unfortunately) right!! I have to wait 11months and they are at the moment working on application from April 2011 :'(

I hope it'll get going faster for you! I was going to apply inland, but found this forum and changed my mind. I totally understand the waiting thing. I'm one of those people who wants something done, and done now. But sadly CIC doesn't agree with that! :-\

You have been added to the list just a quick note the sponsorship approval may get approved in Ottawa but the principal applicant visa office is not in canada so cairo is the VO

Hello all,

So do anybody knows how far did they go with February applicants! just trying to estimate how much time left!!

And what's AOR?? when do we get that!!

Also I have one more question, if somebody's file will be transferred to OPP does that mean that they will transfer it 1st to his VO and then after that being transferred to the OPP or it doesn't work like that!! and it goes straight ahead after the 1st step to the OPP and how long does it take between both if so??
