Yeah, for one thing that's 105 days, not 90!

Congrats cgagnon!

I must admit I'm feeling quite frustrated on the behalf of the early-to-mid February applicants whose apps haven't been approved. It has got to be pretty annoying to see people who filed several weeks after you go first.

I am excited and thank you for everyones message but i do feel awful that you guys haven't heard anything maybe you are you just waiting for snail mail!!!

Hi Guys,
I sent my wife's PR application on 22 March to the Mississauga office.
Still waiting for a response.

I am planning to call them to ask if they received my application or not? Any tips?

Anyone who has been in similar situation?

PS - I was engaged with my wife in May 2011 and we married in Feb 2012.

Honestly it would be a waste of your time to call them. They won't know anything about your application. It is too early. It is best to wait until you get an AOR, if you get one. Trust me, they have your app. Everyone stresses about it but no one's app has been lost. It is taking about 90 days right now, sometimes more, to get approval.

haha I can only hope! I was so anxious while we were out (In Ottawa hahaha) and when I got home I was like "HUBBY! LAPTOP!" And saw I only had e-mails from randoms, nothing from CIC. Grumble. Like I said, come on Ottawa/Mississauga!

Where was yours from (to all three of you who got approved)? Ottawa?

Congrats CGagnon! Guess what!! I just got home and I received my approval in the mail!!!! Our application is being sent to Los Angeles as well.

Did you mean by post? or e mail.....
