or what was the name of the movie with Tom Hanks and the Fed-Ex plane goes down and he is alone (with Wilson of course!) on a desert island and you see all those boxes floating in the ocean????? LOL
Thnks. I didnt complete a continuous 6 months cos I came back home to India in Oct 2009 for 1 week.
I do have all my plane tickets and boarding passes in tact. Should I send them in with the PP along with letter explaining the time frame?
I know Singapore does not issue PCC unless they have a letter from the immigration stating the request specifically for that i think.
Me and my husband have the same problem. He worked in Singapore for a little over a year but we cant request the PCC now to save time because we need a letter from CIC.

Do I need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence?
Yes. However, you cannot apply for a police certificate without an official request from an immigration office. After the submission and review of your immigration application, a Certificate of Clearance (COC) request letter will be sent to you by the Canadian immigration office. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) will not process a request without this official request letter.

I am living in San Francisco, got married to a Canadian citizen last July. Sent my application on March 31, 2012.
My spouse received an email today from the immigration people asking to submit "Welfare check"? What does that mean? What do I need to do?
I also received another mail requesting my medical form. I booked an appointment for next Wednesday with the physician here. Any tips for this health check up?
