Dear frnd may be you are right as I just saw my status and it says:
"We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May xx, 2011 to xx Floor, xxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Center, Office # xx, xxxxxx, Saudi Arabia. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us."
But this letter was sent to my email and not the mailing address. I am going to send them email now. I was gonna pply for GCMS but first of all having my Final project of MBA. Realy stuck with that. So I thought where I've waited for a one long year, lets wait another 2, 3 months but if I freed from Thesis before that time then I'll apply for it.

Dear Amerian, this is same like my situation brother and I already sent them query on same day. But they still didnt reply. But they will reply soon. I am hopefull for some movement this month or next.
caips is older version and gcms is newer version whenever ur brother apply u will get either caips or gcms notes of ur case depending upon whether concerned vo is maintaining record in whichever format. as nowadays every visa officer is switching towards gcms but older files r still on caips that wat i heard ........ seniors can guide u better and brother ur timeline and noc is same as mine kindly keep in touch
