Manitoba PNP Skilled worker overseas

Dear All,

I have Applied MAnitoba PNP under skilled worker overseas but from Sept-2016 onward the draw was opened for Farm Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

I just want to know that what will be the tentative month for reopening for SWO for normal category.

Looking forward to productive reply at earliest.

Hi been waiting here as well, i think they are not yet done with backlogs. I applied feb 2017, my score is 552, what are your scores? Lets update each other here.

SInce there is no updates from MPNP if you get it then share it....

I applied to the MNPN in Nova Scotia in Oct 2016 but no response yet. I think my next step is getting a medical- not sure. Does it take this long? why does it take this long?

MPNP and applying to Nova Scotia are two different things ( SKILLED WORKER OVERSEAS )

Stages in MPNP
1. Fill out EOI
2. Get LAA when you are selected in Skilled worker overseas draw
3. Send out a full application to MPNP with required docs ( upload docs to online portal )
4. Around 9months - 1 year you would get LOA.

After LOA , CIC stage starts ( this where you would send paper based application to Nova Scotia )
1. Fill our relevant form from the provincial nominee application package + fees
2. Courier it to Nova Scotia
3. Approx 60-70 days you receive your client number
4. Next 30 days you'll wait for your file transfer
5. Next your get Medical request & PR fees
6. Background check would start
7. A Decision would be made
8. Passport request would be sent
9. A few days/weeks after you would receive you passport with Visa

Note: Steps 4 & 5 are just 1 step for few Visa offices such as London & Manila.

I have submitted my EOI since November 2016. The draw scores since then has been very high. I pray to reduce it to like 545

Hi, how many points do we get when we get nomination from province? Does these cut off include point we got from province nomination?

There's not been a draw for skilled worker overseas since september. The scores you see are of different category.

My score is 544, no response from last 7 months...am really so worried..please pray for my file..i will do for you..

They have been drawing from the Strategic Initiative since Sept 2016. Let's hope that they would resume the regular draw soon and I hope that the score would go down to 540s..

Hi I'm new here I have a job offer in manitoba I sent my IOE on July 6 this year and received my LAA on July 12 I am about to submit my LAA. I get advise from my employer but she is on leave for 2 wks and I just don't know how to make the payment of $500 application fee. Can somebody help me with this..I'm currently in the Philippines...thanks
