Just would like to ask what the schools there require for pre-school kids when they are enrolled there? Do they need to see the workbooks done here in the Philippines? Or is it enough to get certification from school here in Philippines? We are contemplating on scanning the materials our eldest has made for records if needed.
They need birth certificate of the child being enrolled and the immunization records for the child is a must. When my son got here...he had everything...from school records to school form etc....but they didn't even look at them . They just asked specifically for his birth certificate and his immunization records...that was all. Oh and they asked him what grade he was last in back in the Philippines.
good question, so far na ready palang namin is report cards and vaccination records. Btw, are there any other fees do we have to prepare for when we land?

@TigerLily, my kids are 6 and 4 years old.
Yes kimwayne.....most daycares here are subsidized ng government. Me mga daycares na run ng private individuals...ie...stay home moms....that's where you'll have to ask them for their credentials.

Mommyquinz i sent you a PM about your query. Di ko agad nabasa na balak mo palang ipasok sa kindergarten ang 4 yrs old mo.....di nila papayagan sis, they need her/him to be 5 yrs by january 2012.....unless me bang rules sa AB. You have to put your 4 yr old sa preschool. Kung san mo i-enroll young 6 yrs old mo,dun me pre-school din sila.

I'm a silent follower of this thread. I began to like this thread not only because it is exclusive for Filipinos but all posts are all good news.
