I have received letter from the Immigration Section of Manila Embassy last friday sept 17. asking me to send may original passport and cenomar. They have only given me 45 days to send my passport and by the time I received the letter from them I only had some 27 days. I had my green passport but they asking me the new cred-colored passport with the machine readable passport requirement of the International Civil Aviation Organization.But due to the new DFA policy of making appointment to have my passport renew i was schedule for the personal appearance on the 15 which is which is already my 45 days deadline. Can i just submit my green passport or letter them and ask for extension? any help? Thank you and God bless.

@kefert - just go to dfa and show the letter from the embassy. punta ka sa directors office. tell them na need mo na ipabago ang green passport mo sa e - passort. 10 working days and php1200 ang fee. ganyan din sa akin - green passport (until march 2012) pa din but my sis told me na ipa change ko na kasi machine readable na ang gamit sa vancouver so delayed na agad ako ng 2 weeks. july 16 ang date sa letter pero july 30 ko na nareceive then i went to dfa ng august 3. narelease passport ko ng august 17. august 18 nareceive ng CEM

just finished the renewal of my passport! Thanks be to God! The DFA officer allow me to proceed with my renewal even without appointment i just show her the letter from the embassy. So its a good thing that i can have my passport renewed and submit it before the deadline. thank you everyone! God bless.

i read that you were asked for a CENOMAR for additional documents correct? when you got that request, did they specifically ask for a CENOMAR? or was it written "Advisory on Marriage"? kase when we submitted our application to cpc-m kasama naman yung cenomar sa application namin. kaso kahapon i got a letter from the embassy asking for my passport and an advisory on marriage. kala ko yun na yung cenomar. maybe they just didn't see it? or are they asking for more? i'm a little confused...
