My husband applied for police clearance from Malaysia 8 months ago, still he couldnot get it jet. We contact the Malaysian embassy, they didnot response to us. If they want to pay the fine for the over stay, we can pay it. But they didnot response to us......
Does anyone have experience in getting police clearance from Malaysia?
same case for me too. I was there as an international student for a year so I have to get one. I applied back in Nov 2010 and I still havent recieved anything. I keep calling and they keep telling me to call back.
The Malaysian office which issue police clearance are going through some "new concept" of applying for the certificate. And they are still going through that phase I think. The last I visited the Malaysian Consulate in Vancouver, I was told that it is taking more than 3 months to come through. :
They refuse to accept my application since I am on implied status. Still waiting for a reply from Immi Canada. I guess when my turn comes, its going to take as long. I was told that if you were to apply it in person in Malaysia, it will take less than a week.
No problem newlife. So I called the embassy for the fifth or sixth time, and its the same answer. They will make a note and send it to Malaysia, if I dont hear back from them by Friday I should call back. Sounded like broken record. I wanna yell at them so bad but whats the use. Im so scared my application will be refused because of this thing.
I know, we feel to yell at them but, we cannot do it. My husband visa was refused because of this malaysian police clearance. I don't know why they are taking such a long time. They just mentioned that the processing time is 3 to 4 months, but they don't follow that outline
I cannot join with my husband until he get the police clearance. We got married in january 2009, but we don't know when we are going to be together
I keep calling them, but no response now days.... the counslor don't response......
hope the above link helps, everything is online now via e-consular, supposed to make things faster but mine took a while as well. But have received it since, as submitted the supporting documents in person at one of branches in Sarawak
