Hi,

I mailed my Canadian citizenship application to the wrong address due to confusion via the Canada Post, XPost. I realized that I have made mistakes a few hours later but it seemed to be too late. I supposed to mail my application to
Courier:
Case Processing Centre-Sydney
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

Instead of mailing it to the address on the above, I mailed it to
Courier:
IRCC Case Processing Centre- CAF Citizenship
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2

I am not sure how they are going to process this. Would the Canadian Armed Force - Citizenship Centre return it back or send it to the grant office? If anyone has encountered similar issue, much appreciated if you can share your experience!

Shouldn't be a big deal since it's the same location, you can call IRCC helpline to double check this, they can advice you better.

Thanks very much for your reply! I will check with IRCC to see how they will handle this. Hopefully I don't need to send a new package of application. I heard there are some complications caused by duplicate/multiple applications.

You are totally fine...I mailed through FedEx and they put "Case Processing Centre Citizenship" instead of "Case Processing Centre-Sydney" though I gave them the address. I called IRCC for clarification and they said the heading is not mattered at all. The important part is what is inside the envelope and the below address
