Lost Credit Card While Application is under Process with CIC

Hi All,

I applied for permanent residence under CEC , my application is likely to process by next week and i have lost my credit card . Do you have any suggestion that i can avoid rejection of application and resubmit the fee payment form with new credit card details.

I send my application in August

Any suggestion would be of great help!!!

If I am you , hold it, because the charge would be soon, and your risk is low

if others use you card, you can call credit card center to canceled it, usually, if it is your first time to claim some bills don't belong to you, it will get money back, and of course, the center will ask to you renew a card.


but keep check your credit card inofrmation more frequently. because if it arrived the mount, your CIC charge maybe failed.


another way is , update it now , mail your new charge way . and cancel the old credit card.

in case the CIC long wait time, I would suggest that keep the credit card for a while

Hi All,

i tried all the options , i send them new credit card details by xpress post and email them about my sitiuation but no luck still waiting for my application to be returned.

Unfortunately it didnt work for me , planning to submit a new application so that at least i can come under this year Quota.

please could you let me know if your application was returned to you
