Hello. Quick question. I hope you can give me insights into my situation re: Lonely Canadian Program.
My aunt is a Canadian Citizen and has never been married, no CLP, no kids. She wants to apply for me through this program. Our only concern is my husband and I are on TRV (Open Work Permit and PGWP) and have full-time employment. We all live in the same city. Would my aunt be able to still sponsor me given the situation?

Yes, as sponsor, she has to meet the financial requirements in order to sponsor regardless the financial situation of the sponsored person (Principal Applicant).
Agreed with the above response you were given. She would need to meet the requirements income requirements to sponsor you. Note this is not proof of funds. It's an income requirement.
I believe that she will need to show her NOA of previous years to support that she can sponsor you and your family (if any). I think the LICO posted for other family class sponsorship can be used as a general reference. Not sure if the lonely Canadian route is as straight as PGP for the income requirement.
Hi, can I sponsor my 40 year old brother unmarried to Canada under this program if I’m permanent resident single during the whole process. My parents and grandparents are deceased. I only have one unmarried brother and married sister back home. I want to bring my unmarried brother here. Is it possible?
