send query from CIC web and you will get reply within 28 working days (most probably -within 3 weeks on avg) from an email that you may use for future correspondance, but the best and quick way of communication I have discovered todate is using CIC web based query page - try. I am also sure that Visa Officer doesnt share his official or private email id except the one you will be replied from. hope it clears

I was also told that the Police Certificates will reach him in due course for review. I was under the impression that PC's go to some other dept frpm registry (after posts have been sorted out) for running the Police Clearance checks but surprised to hear that Visa Offcer review all these - should I expect PC's going after review to some investigation agency for further?
I haven't tried to find out Visa Officer who is handling my file. I guess if you send Case Specific Enquiry after medical then in response VO will reply you from personal email. But I'm not sure about this.
