Yep, you are correct, still waiting for it. I did send them renewed pp about six months back for which I received a confirmation letter but suddenly they asked again to send. It seems very lazy and crazy guys............
Yes, you are correct but validity of my and my wife's pp vaildity is up to March 2018. It appears, now they started processing my case and realised that I would get Visa stamped upto March 2018 as per the vailidity. Therefore, they have asked me to send renewed within 15 days of time. Let us hope for the best...........

I also sent my both sons" renewed passports to NDVO last Month, and received auto generated confirmation email. I used multiple ways, CSE to NDVO and CIC and Email to NDVO. Is it okay?

I doubt about it, when they open up your file, they might send you message to upload your son's passport copies in MYCIC account. Believe me, I had received a confirmation letter from my CIC account but still they asked me upload it again. I wish they will not repeat this in your case.
