Got an email from LVO that they are waiting for the results of “routine background check”..does this mean my application is in comprehensive security screening?

they use different terms to qualify the background checks based on the reported cases, like...
Regular
Routine
Necessary
Additional etc.
Yet, the meaning is still unknown...best of luck

Received PPR email after a 9 month wait today. Feels incredibly surreal.

Hi it wasn't an email (my wife posted this!) - we received email notification that we had a message on our CIC account.

When we logged in to our CIC account the letter was there waiting for us

have you recently emailed London Visa Office? if yes, what's the response??

ordered GCMS. been almost 2 months and havent recieved the notes
sent them a webform. Recieved a standard response: background check in process, will contact you when needed bla bla bla
sent another webform 2 weeks ago, no response

I received gcms notes after 2 months and 1 week so may be you will receive them anytime soon n

wondering you could have used email instead of webform for rapid response...anyways bro, hang in there as it's highly likely that you are done with your "background check"

medical if is expired then re-medical or extension of medical is a strong indicator to figure out the passed background check status of one's file

Yes, at this point any response or movement on my file is progress. GU/Medical extension/remedical/GCMS/anything!!

This is so frustrating. They should have a timeline for this it's tough to keep waiting with no end to it. I too sent a follow up last week and haven't even received a response!

I'm hoping for the same. It's so frustrating when everything else is done and you still have to wait all these months too.
