My passport was received at IRCC office on the 8th of August.

So it's already 8 weeks for you right? Should be processed this week or next probably. But again it's high unpredictable

Hi, got a notification today that my decision envelope has been dispatched to vfs, followed by dispatched to my home address. However, I don't see any update on the IRCC portal.

Check after sometime again. It usually gets updated by the evening or End of day

Hey, thanks mate. Nope no change on the portal yet and vfs status is envelope out for delivery.

Update: Passport collection from VFS is now allowed in UK in case anyone prefers that over courier.

Did you receive your passport with visa stamped? Am in a similar situation. I received email from VFS saying passport has been dispatched from IRCC but no update on the online account.

Just joined the waiting club. Passport dispatched by VFS London to IRCC office for processing today.

Also do you get updates via email/sms automatically or should I have paid for the sms service for any updates?

You can contact the visa office through webform and tell them your situation. They might reply and can give you various options on the way forward

Yes received stamped passport, portal updated 3 days after receiving passport.
